Sharing God's Love in our Local Community

We believe that we are blessed in order to be a blessing. In response to God's love, mercy, and generosity, we seek to extend Christian compassion and helpfulness to all who hunger, in mind, body or spirit. We do this by providing emergency relief when we can, hosting monthly community meals, and supporting community organizations whose mission is to care for those experiencing need. Our Social Ministries Team keeps the congregation apprised of urgent needs, and helps us organize to meet the need. Our Social Ministry projects are funded by our annual Apple Festival, Giant gift card proceeds, Thrivent Choice Dollars, and giving to Benevolence. As part of our Lower Susquehanna Synod, we seek to be a place where the hungry are fed, as we are fed by Christ, and we THANK YOU for your help in this endeavor!

St. Stephen's Annual Apple Festival

Thanks for all who helped with this year's festival in anyway...we couldn't have done it without year! We raised $7200 in profit, and received another $2200 in matching funds from Thrivent. This equals $9400 that will be re-invested in our community in the year to come! Thank you, thank you, thank you! You can view a summary video here.
